ABOUT ME

I love programming

I have experience with OOP (object oriented programming) and FP (functional programming). I specialize in JavaScript, but I also worked with Java years ago. My projects are mainly built with scalability and performance in mind utilizing React, Redux, and Node. I love to play with data visualizations, that’s why I created iD3 with other 3 engineers.
Even though, the backend is not my specialty at the time of this writing, I feel confident interacting with databases (relational and non-relational) and RESTful APIs. On the weekends, you can find me playing tennis or volunteering in my community. Oh, by the way, I’m a big fan of any outdoor activity that involves food and music.

I’m originally from Lima, Peru, a city in South America, I’m very proud of my roots and I can spend hours talking about my home country. However, I’ve been long enough in the US to call it home.
